I have suggested a web search feature in Thunderbird on my last post.
Another thought, what if OpenOffice extends this web search to its products also. It will be very useful while editing or reading a document, ie. to search for more information on word or phrase at Wikipedia or at Merriam-Webster
Again the installation of search plugins can be thru Firefox. And at some time later, OpenOffice can provide its on facility to manage its search plugins.
Also dont do it for free, OOo can make partnership with search portals. And I will be happy to use it, to provide income for OOo.
